Washingtonian Magazine Blogger Beat
Washingtonian Magazine’s Capitol Comment blog featured Not Derby Pie in its Blogger Beat feature in January 2010. Click through to learn about my favorite cookbooks, my standby ingredients, and of course, one of my laughably ridiculous kitchen disasters.
Food52 “Reciprocity” Profile
Amanda Hesser and Merrill Stubbs, the talented masterminds behind the crowdsourced recipe site Food52, did a feature on Not Derby Pie in April. They highlighted one of my favorite new recipes — Cheesy Scones with Ramps — and let me tell a national audience that I think recipes are passé. Huzzah!
Maple Yogurt Pound Cake
My maple yogurt pound cake was a wildcard winner on Food 52, and will be one of the lucky recipes in the first (hopefully of many) Food52 cookbook!
Rhubarb Curd Shortbread
That’s not all — my spiced and tangy rhubarb curd shortbread is also going in the Food52 cookbook. Thanks to all of you for your votes and support!
The 55 Knives Book
Not Derby Pie is one of 55 blogs featured in the 55 Knives e-book. The book is a beautiful compilation of essays and recipes from some great food bloggers. In fact, the book just launched today! It’s priced at $19, but reduced to $14 for the first week…buy fast!Email Print
