Trying this tonight, Riv! Similar to you, I think I will enjoy anything that has the words "down and dirty," but especially like the spicy + chickpea combo. Always a fan of your blog...stay warm out there!

I made a variation of this today...amazing!! I started with oil, (more) garlic, (more) achovies, sliced onion, spinach, added tomatoes and chickpeas and made a sauce. Was too nervous to boil the pasta in the sauce itself, i know, man up...but i boiled the pasta then tossed it in the sauce, my boyfriend loved it!!! Thanks for the great idea! Plus who can go wrong with anything down and dirty...

This looks easy and delicious which are my two favorite qualifications for trying a new recipe. Congratulations on your interview with the Blogger Beat! It's a great article.

Yum, I was trying to decide what to have for dinner tonight. Since I am currently on a chick pea bender, this will be perfect. Thank you.
