I made dulce de leche a while back with the boiling-the-cans method. AND they were pull tabs &amp; they were fine (although I think I aged 10 years in those 3 hours the cans were clanking away in the pot... lol!)

Since your about it was so detailed along with beautiful photos, Id like to link it to my blog when I post my recipe. Thanx a bunch!!!</description>

		<description>We stopped at Bouchon in Yountville (aka Thomas Keller-ville) last time we were up in the Wine Country a few weeks ago.  We got a huge macaroon to share and some bouchons to go.  Both were amazing!!!!  I will have to make this.  Also, have you tried the Bouchon mixes at Williams-Sonoma?</description>
